  1. Hi Janusz. I could be mistaken, but it appears page 31 in "Names of Poles in Tehran, Persia" is missing. Does it appear this way in the archives? I reside in South Africa, so I unfortunately do not have access to the archives myself. Thanks a mil. Tamara Bulmer

    1. Tamara, you are right. Looks like a section is missing. I'll see if I can find it and update this. Thanks for the comment.

  2. Tamara, the file is now corrected and the missing page has been added in. Thanks for pointing this out.

  3. i finally found my mother's name on evacuee list, detailing original village. thank you for this information!

  4. Thank you, I have found some of my family members in the document: "Polska Walczaca - Osoby wyewakuowane z ZSSR - A4 with OCR.pdf". Alas, it is a very manual process, as search for text strings, even in full Acrobat does not work, and trying to export it to other formats is impossible because it is locked by password. Is there a solution to this?

  5. Hi, not sure why you cant search the document, as it is fully searchable. You can download the file and serch within it directly, or you can use the browsers (eg Google chrome) search facility.

Let me know if you still have trouble.
